Return Policy

At Nature Bound books, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we offer a return policy that allows you to return the product under the following conditions. Unfortunately we are unable to accept International returns. Please read our policy carefully:

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Time Frame: You must initiate a return request within 14 days of receiving your order. You will then have another 14 days to return the goods once we have approved your return. 
  • Condition: The item must be in the same condition that you received it. If it was a new book, this will need to be in an unread condition.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

Faulty or damaged items 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

2. Return Process

To return items ordered online, please complete the following:

  1. Initiate Return: To initiate a return, please open your order confirmation email and click "view your order". Then click "request return"and follow the subsequent instructions to create an account to manage your orders and initiate a return request. 
  2. Approval: Once we have reviewed your return request, we will provide you with a return authorisation and instructions on how to send your item back to us. You will have 14 days once we have approved your request to return the item to us.
  3. Packaging: Check that the product is in its original condition from when it was received.
  • Please package the item carefully using appropriate packing to protect the product during transit. Make sure no sticky tape is touching the product as it needs to be resold. 
  • Please include a note with your order number and your reason for returning the item within the return package. 

3. Shipping Costs

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for paying the shipping costs associated with returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Original Shipping Costs: If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.

4. Refunds

  • Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure we have received it in the same condition that it was sent to you. 
  • Processing: If the item is approved for return, we will process your refund. The refund will be applied to your original method of payment within 14 business days.

5. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable, including:

  • Sale items

6. Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
